Isotemp Slim Square is a square water heater, perfectly adapted for installation in tight spaces, such as modern sailboats. It can be mounted both standing and lying down, although standing installation is preferred for optimal performance. The design takes into account the natural laws of heat – where hot water rises and cold water sinks to the bottom. To ensure that the entire water volume is heated efficiently, the electric heating element is placed near the bottom.
To minimize turbulence and mixing between heated and unheated water, the connections for hot water outlet and cold water inlet are placed far apart. This improves efficiency and provides a consistent hot water supply. The external design is carefully considered for marine environments, with a robust stainless steel casing and protected connections that resist corrosion.
Isotemp Slim Square is made with high-quality stainless materials, where all welds in contact with water are performed under shielding gas to ensure durability. Each tank is individually tested at 16 bar to guarantee safety and performance. It is delivered with a mixing valve, a 230V electric heating element, and a safety valve, all pre-installed at delivery for smooth installation.
