NOTE!!! Check one of the following options:
Using a suitable diagnostic tool, e.g., VCDS, and in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications, verify that the VW part number for the heater control unit is: 5WA 963 271 C 1 with software version: 0012 2.
Check directly on the heater's type plate to see if the identification number is: 9037550F.
Using Webasto Thermo Test Diagnosis (WTT) and in accordance with Webasto's specifications, verify that the identification number for the heater control unit is: 9040761A 2 and that the EOL data set identification number is: 9040765A.
If any deviations are found, an upgrade following these instructions will not be possible. Please note that this upgrade kit cannot be returned, so it is essential to confirm compatibility before placing an order.
