This is an original-specification replacement unit, and selecting the correct heater is critical for proper function and long-term reliability. Always verify that the original part number exactly matches our article number in the cross-reference list before ordering (see Documents).
Important information – programming & compatibility
When replacing a Thermo Top V with a Thermo Top VEVO, extra care is required:
- Ensure that the CPM software part number (SW 30773453) ordered via VIDA corresponds exactly to the reference number specified for the new Thermo Top VEVO heater.
- The CPM reload software (SW) should be verified via, for example, PartsLink.
- After installation, the heater must be programmed using VIDA: “CPM reinstalling”.
- When replacing Thermo Top V with Thermo Top VEVO, particular caution is required. Repair of an incorrectly programmed heater cannot be guaranteed.
Programming must be carried out by a Volvo workshop. The cost for programming is not included in the heater price.
